Project Description
Vaaradhi Trust is sponsoring a placement-linked skill development programme at yet-to-be inaugurated National Academy of Construction (NAC), Nalgonda Centre. The project offers structured, non-residential training in construction trades and a self-employment-oriented tailoring course. The programme is designed to combine practical training, certification, and placement support, enabling participants to transition confidently into employment or self-employment opportunities.
Through this project, we aim to significantly improve the employability of unemployed youth in Nalgonda region.
The project aims for 100% placement opportunities for trainees in construction-related trades and self-employment opportunities will be provided for tailoring course participants.
The initiative is expected to contribute to increased income security, enhanced workforce readiness, and long-term socio-economic development in Nalgonda, while demonstrating the impact of collaborative efforts between civil society organizations and skill training institutions.
