Inauguration of MOFOCO (Monkey Food Collection) Stall – Narsapur Urban Forest, Telangana

About the Project 

We are pleased to share that the MOFOCO (Monkey Food Collection) Stall at Narsapur Urban Forest was successfully inaugurated by Hon’ble Smt. Vakiti Sunitha Laxma Reddy Garu, MLA, Narsapur Constituency.

The inauguration was graced by the presence of dignitaries, whose guidance and support strengthen this initiative aimed at addressing human-animal conflict in the Narsapur region of Telangana:

The project is supported by Vaaradhi Trust at Narsapur Urban Forest and implemented by VOON HANDS FOUNDATION. The project also includes the plantation of 1,111 fruit-bearing plants, creating sustainable food sources within the forest ecosystem and promoting peaceful coexistence between humans and wildlife.

This initiative marks an important step towards ecological balance, biodiversity conservation, and community-driven solutions in urban forest landscapes.
