Forestry and Environmental Sustainability

Implementing urban and rural greening initiatives, restoring public parks, promoting biodiversity, and encouraging climate-resilient ecosystems.

  1. Promote afforestation and expansion of urban green cover through the development and maintenance of public parks, green belts, vertical gardens, and other green infrastructure.
  2. Encourage community participation in tree plantation and environmental conservation through volunteer programs, donor engagement, and CSR partnerships with corporate entities.
  3. Collaborate with municipal authorities and relevant agencies to transform unused or underutilized urban spaces into accessible green zones for public benefit.
  4. Create green livelihood opportunities for underprivileged and economically weaker urban communities in areas such as tree maintenance, nursery management, and ecological restoration.
  5. Conduct awareness and education campaigns highlighting the environmental, health, and socio-economic benefits of urban forestry, including improved air quality, public health, and sustainable urban development.
